We have a GIANT range of parts on hand ready for dispatch throughout our multi-state warehouse
network here at 4Wheelhouse. However, we also have a vast range of products that can be organised
via our ‘Special Orders’ program.
These Special Order products are organised from one of our many trusted Australian suppliers but
may require up to 10 business days or more to become ready for dispatch. Some of these items need
to be customised or manufactured upon request or the supplier may be waiting for stock to arrive
themselves.
If time isn’t a major factor on your 4WD build our Special Order program is perfect for getting your
hands on high quality products from trusted Australian Suppliers that would otherwise be impossible
to source locally.
In the event where your Special Order experiences further delays our customer service team will alert
you immediately.
General Information
What is a Special Order?
A Special Order is a product that Supercheap Auto specially sources for you directly from
our network of over 300 trusted suppliers. We do not have these products available to be
picked up from anywhere within our stores or distribution network.
Where are Special Orders supplied from?
A Special Order product is supplied directly from our trusted suppliers. If your order
contains multiple products, it will be shipped to one of our stores and then packaged
together and shipped to you so you receive only a single pain-free delivery.
How long do Special Orders take to arrive?
Every Special Order product has a different delivery time. Add your postcode into the
delivery calculator located on every product page for a delivery estimate. Products that
are custom made to order can take up to 21 days for delivery. These products will be
clearly labeled such as tailor-made seat covers and custom toolboxes. We endeavor to
get these to you as soon as fast as we can.
Are Special Order items available in-store?
Special Order products are available to order in our store network. Just ask our friendly
team for assistance in store.
Can I return/cancel a Special Order?
Special Orders fall under the same policy as our standard range of products which can
be found here.
Do you have a larger range of products than what is displayed online?
Yes. Online we have only 600,000 products which we have selected as the most popular
ranges. We can order over 1,000,000 products through our store network. If the part or
product you are looking for is not online, it’s likely we will be able to order it through our
stores.
Can I use Afterpay or ZIPPay on Special Orders?
Yes. All of our same payment methods are available on these products.
What can cause delays to my Special Order?
Unfortunately delays can happen from time to time. Our supplier’s close on all gazetted
public holiday’s in their location and over the Christmas & New Year periods.
Occasionally there could be a delay from the supplier due to various possibilities as well
as from our freight forwarders.
Special Order Collection From Store
Can I collect my Special Order in-store?
Collect from Store is an alternate collection method for selected Special Order products
that are purchased online. It provides an opportunity for a faster fulfilment of your order
(compared to Home Delivery) and provides the flexibility for you to collect from your
nominated store.
Where is Special Order ‘Collect from Store’ available?
Collect from Store is available at all Supercheap Auto stores - subject to available
products that we can supply with this service.
Are there any extra fees or charges to use your Special Order ‘Collect from Store’ service?
No, we do not charge additional fees for this service, it is free of charge.
How will I know my Special Order is ready for collection in-store?
You will receive a notification either by SMS or email (depending on what you selected
when you placed your order) to confirm your order is ready to be collected.
What do I take into the store to pick up my Special Order?
Your order confirmation and ID are required to pick up your order. A driver’s license is
required for collection of orders over $100 value.
Can someone else collect my Special Order on my behalf?
To protect our customers, only the person specified on the order details is able to collect
the order and will be required to provide appropriate identification.
What are your store opening hours?
Store trading hours are displayed online on our store locator page and can vary by
location.
Can I go to the store to pick up my Special Order before I receive the confirmation?
Visiting the store prior to receiving the email or SMS alert may result in your items not
being ready for collection when you arrive.
How long do I have to collect my order?
Your order must be collected within 7 business days, if you’re unable to collect within this
period of time we recommend contacting your collection store and advising when you will
be able to collect your item. Uncollected orders will be cancelled and refunded after this
period of time.
