Clutch Components

A 4WD system comprises several crucial clutch components that facilitate power distribution to all four wheels. These parts include the transfer case, which houses the clutch mechanism, a set of drive shafts, and axles. The transfer case contains a clutch pack or viscous coupling, which engages or disengages the front and rear axles to control power distribution between them. Additionally, there are locking hubs that can be manually engaged or disengaged to connect or disconnect the front wheels from the drivetrain. These components collectively enable seamless transitions between 2WD and 4WD modes, enhancing off-road capability and traction in challenging driving conditions.
